SCEPA featured in the European Commission’s Panorama Magazine

The SCEPA NWE project has been featured in Panorama Magazine, published by the European Commission. In this edition, the magazine highlights innovative approaches to tackling energy poverty across Europe and showcases SCEPA as a strong example of community-driven impact.

Local Action, European Impact

Energy poverty affects more than 46 million people across Europe. For many households, access to affordable energy is no longer guaranteed but a daily concern. Vulnerable groups are disproportionately affected by rising energy costs and poorly insulated housing, making energy access a matter of resilience and dignity. In Panorama Magazine, the European Commission’s publication on regional development and cohesion policy, SCEPA is recognised for its commitment to sustainable, community-led solutions. The project brings together partners from across North-West Europe to support households in improving their living conditions and accessing affordable energy.

At the heart of SCEPA is a strong local approach. By working closely with residents, municipalities and community organisations, the project develops tailored solutions that respond to the specific needs of neighbourhoods. This not only contributes to more energy-efficient homes, but also strengthens local networks, trust and long-term capacity.
